Children's Ministry - Nursery

0 - 17 month old children

The FBC Nursery is located on the north side of the main building accessed through the main lobby.

Nursery-ages 0 up to 17 months old. Your baby will be given individual attention by our loving and nurturing staff. It’s our desire that your child feel God’s presence through our fun, safe and exciting environment while you are worshipping with us.

All families must follow the proper security procedures. Children are to be brought to the age-appropriate room by a parent and will only be released to the parent. We have a security sticker check-in system in each room. For more information, download our KidCheck pamphlet.

We also do everything we can to ensure the nursery environment is a healthy one.  Please check out our Well Child Policy - Link available in the menu to the right.

Ratios and Volunteer requirements

Our target for each room is an adult to child ratio of 1 to 4. Every caregiver and committed volunteer has been given an extensive background check and has completed a thorough application process. We do recruit volunteers from our adult congregation for special events as added support to our nursery staff, and on those occasions we make certain that we have pre-screened staff in each room.

What to bring?

Diaper bag
Diapers (disposable only please)
Pacifier and clip
Drinking cups
A change of clothes
Please do not bring toys from home

Nursing Mothers

We provide a nursing "Mom's Room" for your privacy. Enjoy comfortable gliders and closed-circuit television of the worship service. A nursery volunteer will be happy to help you locate the Mom's Room. However, please provide a bottle for your baby in the nursery in the event that your return is delayed. You'll find our nursery both a loving and safe place for your child. We have several policies in place to ensure this. Our nursery is located in the north end of the lobby in the worship center.

Saying Good-bye

After you have completed the check-in process, say good-bye to your child and feel free to move to the worship center. It is normal for children to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long and separation becomes easier with time and regular attendance routines. Our workers will immediately try to interest your child and create a loving and comforting environment.
